vision & mission

reaching
Our most important mission is to win the lost to Jesus Christ. "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Matthew 28:19. Our focus is a "church without walls" where we are outward-focused to reach. Every Sunday service an invitation is given to receive the love of God in Jesus Christ.

restoring
So much was lost in the fall of humankind, maybe more than we realize. Through worship, the Word (including preaching, teaching, daily reading, etc.) and commited fellowship, our desire is to see a restorative, healing, delivering work of the Holy Spirit in each believers life in Christ. "I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10

equipping
We believe that each person has the potential to minister the life of Jesus Christ. Therefore, ministry in our church-life is for the purpose of equipping believers to build up the body of Christ, to grow as a disciple of Christ, and to be a life giving agent of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. "...for the equipping of the saints for the work of the minstry." Ephesians 4:12

serving
Everything we do must be centered in the heart of a servant. Jesus taught that leadership begins with a towel and a bowl, washing feet. Jesus gave us the example to follow. Everything we do must be in the love of God, in humility, and a servant's heart. "After that, He poured water into a basin and began to wash His disciple's feet, drying them with a towel that was wrapped around Him." John 13:5

discovering
We desire our church to be a place where people discover what God's plan for their life is. Everyone has a specific God-given purpose and plan. From understanding God's original design for what was lost in the fall, to hearing the call of God for specific ministry, discovery is an important part of our ministry here.

sending
Our mission is to send. This encompasses everything from monthly missions giving, mission trips, church planting, vocational ministry training, and more. "Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying 'Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?' Then I said, 'Here am I! Send me.'" Isaiah 6:8
